In a surprising crossover event that challenges conventional expectations, Ubisoft has announced an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Uncovered

According to the official announcement, "An unusual meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and fearsome changes resonate through the shadows." The narrative presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine sect.

The mission concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a monstrous enemy" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Transformations

The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer finishes with a striking scene showing a character, likely the captive, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Items and Additional Features

Players who successfully complete the adventure will obtain an exclusive katana alongside multiple objects secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

Third Free Story Addition

This patch also adds the game's newest complimentary story content, titled "The Enigma."
